esyURL » Tips and tricks

Mowser is a service that create a mobile optimized version of any website. Two weeks ago, I read the entry TinyURL should be mobile-savvy in Lifeblog and I decided to implant this functionality in esyURL.

Now, when a mobile user enter in a URL shortened by esyURL, he can choose to enter in mobile optimized version by Mowser or original page:

This is the first of many posts that will surely come here in esyURL Tips and Tricks, a blog about the best practices and oficial advertisements of esyURL. Although it is a brazilian initiative, the blog will be wrote down in English, because it is the language of most of the visitors, but I believe brazilian won´t have any big troubles to understand it.

My name is Filipe Boldo, responsible for creating esyURL project, but I will have a little help to deal with the English language. In fact, esyURL is the first project of F.O.R. Digital Entertainment, a brazilian company focused on web entertainment.

syURL offers tools to “easy” long URLs through your browser and desktop and an API for developers integrate their applications to the service. Furthermore, one of esyURL objectives (related to its own name) is to provide for users an easy accessibility (both for users that prefer esyURL tools and for people that need it).
